A Spring Cake!
This cake, made from a Bon Appetit recipe from last year, rocked Patty's 65th Birthday party last night! The cupcakes, which are barely visible in this photo, came also turned out marvelously with white chocolate "65"s that I made myself. The lime and chocolate tart was store-bought by a guest! Phooey to it!

thanks for the kudos & for reading! i am still working on "folding" egg whites into cakes rather than blending too much as to loose the lightness. but otherwise, this cake was a winner!
This looks so good - the only problem is the photo is too small. I wish it was big enough to fill up my whole screen! Yum. Yum. Yum.
